How to get an appointment
Each patient at the Joint Orthopaedic Centre receives outstanding service.
If you become a patient, you may be wondering about how to organize an
appointment and the cost.
- You need a referral
To receive a consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon each patient by
law needs a referral from his or her general practitioner.
- You may get a rebate
Patients in a health fund may receive a rebate on the services provided
by the Joint Orthopaedic Centre.
Dr Kohan also is available for Veteran affairs, Third party, work cover
and medico legal work.
Post operative care.
Postoperative care is managed acutely by the St Lukes Private Hospital.
When the patient is discharged, our highly skilled staff are on
call 24 hours a day to ensure the patient is well looked after while
recuperating after surgery.
